“That sure was one fine fish fry, Delilah,” Jessie said as he brought his plate to the sink. He stepped close enough to smell her, and then his head spun. Damn, the woman was so sweet he wanted to take a great big bite of her.

“Thanks. I am a sucker for a good fried catfish.”

As he handed her the dish, their fingers brushed. A spark of excitement shot through him, and he wanted to groan. He couldn’t remember ever being this far gone over a woman, especially one he had not bedded yet. Her eyes widened, and she looked up at him.

He wanted to step closer and pull her close, but he knew that she wouldn’t go for it. Not yet. Besides, when Shane and Delilah had returned home from the grocery store, he had told them they needed to have a family meeting after dinner. From the mess in Shane’s room, he knew what they were going to discuss.

“I’m the same way. It is certainly great meeting a woman who can not only cook like a dream, but has no problem sitting down and eating.”

She pulled the dish from him and started to rinse it off. He knew the others were waiting for him, but he couldn’t seem to pull himself away from her. She had put her hair up in some kind of twisty arrangement on the back of her head, and a few wisps of her hair had escaped. He played with one strand, and she stilled.

“What are you doing, Jessie?”

“Just playing.”

She turned off the water, then turned to face him, resting one of her full hips against the counter. She crossed her arms beneath her breasts. Her nipples were easy to see through her red T-shirt. He knew she was turned on, and the idea that she was made him even hotter.

“I have a feeling that Shane might disagree.”

He cocked his head and studied her. So they had slept together. He expected it because Shane, as the Dom, would have to. He, himself, didn’t really care. As long as he got one big, tasty bite of her, he was all about sharing.

Jessie shook his head. “I see that Shane didn’t explain things.”

“What I think is that Shane doesn’t understand, but that’s between us.”

Damn, she was cute. He knew she was trying to straighten everything out in her head, maybe because she was afraid of her feelings. He could tell from her reaction at dinner that she wanted them all. Oh, she had tried to hide it, but when one of them would touch her, she shivered. But he knew that Mason or Shane would be better at explaining it to her.

He would not allow her to get away without at least letting her know he wanted her. He moved closer, crowding her. He enjoyed the way her breathing hitched and her soft brown skin flushed. With an easy movement, he brushed the backs of his fingers down her cheek. She pulled her lower lip between her teeth.
